Awards for leading Anatolian Brands of “Anatolian Brands Contest” organized by Finansbank in cooperation with Capital and Ekonomist magazines.
In the fifth “Anatolian Brands Contest” organized by Finansbank 18 companies from 12 cities were awarded. Metin Karabiber, Finansbank Commercial Banking Vice General Manager stated that companies in Anatolia are the leading companies and also stated that “Branding of Anatolian Companies will lead our country’s brand value increase”.
The award ceremony of “Anatolian Brands 2011” contest organized with contributions of Finansbank and in cooperation with Capital and Economist magazines was held in the evening of Monday February 13. At the contest, the fifth of which was held, totally 18 companies operating in commerce, production, agriculture and service industries in 12 cities including Manisa, Ankara, Antalya, Izmir, Bursa, Afyon, Eskişehir, Kütahya, Mersin, Kütahya, Konya, Çorum were awarded.
Finansbank Commercial Banking Vice General Manager Metin Karabiber and Economist and Capital Magazines Publication Director of Rauf Ateş as well as leading actors of business world attended the award ceremony.
“Financing is the greatest necessity for institutions in the way to branding”
Finansbank Commercial Banking Vice General Manager Metin Karabiber spoke at the ceremony and said these words about the importance of Anatolian companies in Turkish economy: “Anatolian companies have a vital position in our country’s economy. Even though Istanbul is known as the heart of economy, Anatolia where many companies at the industries of production, tourism, agriculture and trade are located is the leading power of our economy.”
Also stating that companies outside Istanbul constitute 65% of customer portfolio of Finansbank, Karabiber carried on his words saying: “Financing is the greatest necessity for institutions in the way to branding... We, as Finansbank meet our customers’ financing requirements, support them for the management of their resources and thus contribute to their efforts of branding.”
Rauf Ateş, Economist and Capital Magazines Publication Director stated “Companies in Anatolia must proceed to branding with the power and capital they accumulated after reaching to a certain level. It should be an example for us that there are world brands among Far Eastern companies making this change. We consider this award conducted together with Finansbank as an important leverage in this manner.”
