Alapala was choosen by Mabuhay Interflour Mill Inc. which is a member of Interflour. With an investment of USD 35 million, Interflour established this new mill on a 5.8 hectare greenfield site in Subic Bay Free Port Zone, Luzon, The Philippines. The Philippines is one of the largest flour consuming countries in the South East Asian region
The initial grinding capacity of the mill is 500 tons per day for institutional buyers, medium sized distributors and retail customers throughout the Philippines.
Interflour runs 10 mills, in nine South East Asia and one in Turkey with capacity to produce over 7,000 tons of wheat flour daily for institutional buyers, medium sized distributors and retail consumers across Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and the Philippines, making it a leading flour miller in the Southeast Asian region.
Assembling process of Alapala machines for 500 TPD capacity mill had started on March 2017 and the mill started to produce wheat flour for local market on October.
